Umbersoll Japan was founded on 1 June 2001 with a capital of 10 million yen, its offices being located at Kakigaracho, Chuo-ku in Tokyo.

Started as an analyzer system sales agent of Syndicated Technologies Ltd (Canada) for oversea projects.

Signed agency agreement with Analytical Specialties Ltd. (USA) as a sole agent of South-East Asia

Signed agency agreement with O’Brien Analytical as a sole agent of Japan

Signed agency agreement with ABB Analytical Division for Analyzer Systems as sales for Japanese EPCs’ oversea projects

Mutual aid agreement is made with Anatec Service K.K. (Japan) for analyzer maintenance service 7 Engineers (4 Anatec’s & 3 Umbersoll’s) took AMETEK analyzers maintenance training courses in AMETEK, USA and certified as AMETEK analyzers’ service engineers

Obtained Certification for a Sentry Sampling Cooler from High Pressure Gas Safety Institute of Japan (KHK) (The sampling cooler was supplied to domestic oil refinery)

Obtained JIS Ex-proof license (TIIS) for AMETEK Tail Gas Analyzer
(The Tail Gas Analyzer was supplied to domestic oil refinery)
